In the US, there is an epidemic of First Responders and Veterans suffering from PTSD and depression, which can result in a variation of symptoms and even suicide. Many First Responders and Veterans witness traumatic events every day.

When a person goes through a traumatic event, the pituitary gland can become damaged. This causes hormone levels to be clinically low, resulting in fatigue, weight gain, imbalanced emotions, decreased focus and insomnia. When a person has these symptoms, they are typically prescribed opioids or anti-depressants. At PRIME Medical Group, we are here to help reverse those symptoms and ultimately eliminate any side effects associated with PTSD and depression by holistically treating the physical cause of the problem.

Proven Success

Awareness


The American Psychological Association defines trauma as, “an emotional response to a terrible event like an accident, rape or natural disaster. Immediately after the event, shock and denial are typical. Longer term reactions include unpredictable emotions, flashbacks, strained relationships and even physical symptoms like headaches or nausea.” (APA, 2017).

Traumatic events happen to people of all ages and most recover, although many suffer post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) months to years following the event/events.

In fact, it is often the case where keeping the traumatic events(s) secret actually propagates the growth of even more trauma or stress, which then becomes compounded over time. Efforts to maintain the secret can in and of itself become traumatic since a person needs to expend a lot of effort just to hide their emotions, especially big and intense emotions resulting from a traumatic event.

These groups are dedicated to providing “free and confidential” programs for all active and retired department members and their families. These units were established in order to assist department members in the management of the demands of their job, and its impact on their family and professional life.

After the free consultation and on boarding process, our medical team will evaluate their needs, customize therapy protocols and ship any physician prescribed medications to their home within 5-7 business days.

Qualifying Process

Customized therapy is based on our 3 step process. Once these are done, a comprehensive medical evaluation is conducted by our medical team and the Provider will give the patient their recommendations.
